Pampers or Huggies... stores own brand?

Found 15th Jul 2010
Any preferences for your little ones?

It's varied by age. Sometimes they fit better but overall bar the cheap own brand range they are all pretty similar (and likely to be manufactured by the same companies!)

When my little ones were younger I wouldn't change from Pampers, I tried them all and they were the only ones I liked.

But now they have changed them, they aren't as good. I use huggies now and find them a lot better

Used huggies for the first few months with my first and then moved onto tesco superfit. Will be doing the same this time round as well I think.

tesco nappies are pretty poor. On my first son used Boots brand nappies and found them to be better than other brands, that was a while ago and they dont appear to be quite as good these days. My daughter gets either pampers or huggies now, with pampers appearing to be the better.

best quality and value nappies i've come across are Aldi own brand, and there baby wipes a good value aswell.

ive been using the asda ones this week and i think they are really good,i normally buy pampers but my neighbour picked them up for me,they are not the really cheapo ones though

Pampers baby dry - active fit ones causes nappy rash every time so only get the baby dry ones now (but not for much longer as potty training yey!)

Morrisons own brand nappies are near enough exactly the same as Huggies, they are really good.
I found Pampers left crystals on my boys bottoms.
Tesco are very good aswell

I switched between pampers and huggies , depending on what ones were on offer !

Whichever were on offer at the time.

Ive been using huggies on my lo, found pampers leaked.

pampers from birth to easy ups. my bro in law wife uses asda and said she tried pampers on her 19month old and found they were more bulky! tbh i havent tried anything else so i cant comment!

I use Huggies but Morrisons own brand nappies are very good, elasticated at back.
I think Tesco's own brand are the worst and ASDA not too bad.

PAmpers all the way for my two little uns! x although thankfully neither now!!! hurrah!!!

i used pampers until they changed them and have been using asda's little angels, there fab wish i used them before would of saved loads of money, lol

Its a good few years now, but when my little boy ( now 7) was a baby, huggies brought him out in a rash, pampers were best at new born, morrisons from around 3 months to about 10 months then pampers there after. Morrisons were great for drycore but the tabs were not big enough as he got bigger.

i always found that with both my boys pampers leaked terribly so i tend to go for either huggies or stores own brand which ive never had any problems with any of them. x

Cloth nappies all the way!
