    Pancakes for Duck !

Picked up a Whole Duck that was on offer and then reduced from Tesco yesterday, now i need the pancakes that accompany 'crispy duck', hoison sauce etc.........Asda used to sell them in packs of 10 but stopped doing them a while ago, looked in Sainsburys and was told they only do them at xmas time !!, anyone know where else may have them ?
Save me having to travel over the water to China Town !!! as then the Duck will not be such a bargain , lol

    steal them from the box.

I thought I seen these in Morrisons beside the packets of stir fry sauces etc, maybe you could give them a call?

I'm sure I seen them whilst I was looking for actual spring roll wraps which I ended up getting in the Chinese supermarket.

Let us know how you get on! I've yet to try them myself...

Ive been looking for them too, as when we get a duck kit, my lil one wants them all (usually with one strip of cucumber in each). Asda used too, but cant find them anymore. None in Tesco. might try iceland but dont fink so.

£4.50 for some pancakes? they used to be a quid in asda. If you go to Aldi, you can get a half duck with 12 pancakes for £3.80, then chuck the duck in the pond.

make them its just flour and water mixed to make a dough, then you make two balls and place one of the other and roll them to make a pancake shape, then dry fry them for a few mins then pull them apart to create two pancakes.

Waitrose do them for sure as also someone said do the Wing Yip chinese supermarket place well Croydon Purley Way one does .

You can order from Wing Yip online at (http://www.wingyip.com) as mentioned above the store in Purley Way is great, our local Chinese take-away gets their food from there! Its also worth trying lamb instead of duck which is eaten more in Central China!

Any Chinese Supermarket will stock pancakes also...
