    Panini Recipes / Recipe Book

Got dad a panini maker for his birthday and thought I would get him a panini recipe book as part of his fathers day presents since he has so far only used it for cheese and marmite paninis (what he used to get in starbucks!)

Looking for suggestions on which books are any good (cant get to a book shop to have a look through them) and also any suggestions for recipes

We are all vegetarian and so far have done mozzerella tomato and basil, cheese and onion, cheese and marmite, cheese and tomato. (Obviously dont eat ham etc, but suggest anyway because you can get vegetarian ham etc)

    Thanks!

Have been looking at the reviews on amazon, but not many reviews so doesnt tell me a lot! Thats why I want the opinion of someone who actually has one (on which one to get, but also which not to get!)

I work in a cafe and sell paninis. The most popular are :-
    Chicken, Bacon and motzerella
    Brie and Bacon
Tuna with cheese and red onion
    Ham, cheese and onion.

Anything that goes between bread can be put in a panini

    Hope he likes the present:thumbsup:

    Grilled mushroom, cheese and spinach
Brie and chilli jam (my fave)
    Tomato and mozarello
    Cheddar and caramelised onions
    Falafel and hummous

why does he need a recipe book to make toasted sandwiches?

He doesnt, just to give him ideas of what to have

I dont use recipe books at all when I am cooking, but he follows recipes to the letter (Even when they say 20 teaspoons instead of 2! Lol, yup that really happened!)

I have suggested few fillings but he is not convinced, thought getting him a recipe book might make him more adventurous!
