Hi All - I wanted to courier/parcel 4 Dinning chairs with dimensions - 8kg each and 51cm X 61 cm X 53 Cm but all courier options seem so expensive, can someone please suggest a cheap and convenient way to ship them?

Thanks.

I am getting £69 plus VAT from DPD classics service which comes to like £83.
£83 doesn't sound unreasonable

Have you tried Shiply.com?

Try inter parcel. Alternatively pay someone to pick them up and drive them across on the ferry.

Your unlikely to get international shipping very cheap for something the size of a chair.

How would paying someone in France to pick them up in Paris and drive them over to London via a ferry be any cheaper than £83? Not to mention that it would be much more of a hassle to organise and try and find someone to do it. OP, just pay the £83, which sounds quite reasonable, and let the courier sort it out for you.
