    Park Resorts Entertainment passes?

We go on a Park Resorts holiday in a caravan every year. This year we are going on another late one with the sun holiday offer. I wonder if anyone knows why through the sun it says holiday passes are charged for? Park Resorts do not charge for their entertainment and no passes have ever been issued to us before. Does anyone know why they are trying to charge this. Thanks to anyone can make sense of this.

Most parks I have been to do have a entertainment pass, especially Havens. The cost of these is usually included in the total amount you pay, but The Sun deals are cheap because you are paying for the accomodation only. The holiday parks then make their money on the extra charges, such as entertainment passes, linen etc.

ring the actual resort your staying at and ask something like ' how do the entertainment passes work?? do my kids need to carry one at all times', then if they advise passes are not needed cancel them, thats what we did on our last sun holiday !!!! saved some money

So we stopped at Haven few months back and knew we would'nt make use of the entertainment as we used the caravan as a base. Could we have saved that cost?

this is part of the 'Sun deal' - take it or leave it
you don't have to pay for the bed sheets etc take your own and you don't have to pay for the entertainment passes but you will have to pay on some sites for your electricity usually about a fiver a day. For me it was still cheaper to do this than book through Haven direct same park same dates

We just got back from a parks resort park and we needed the passes to get into the entertainment and to get into the swimming pool.
are was included in the total we paid.

We keep going back to Kessingland and California Cliffs in Great Yarmouth but never needed any passes, maybe it varies by park.

Yes Haven you pay definitely for passes we have always had to show them , they are extremely strict on them. I went to the entertainment complex with my son and picked up two adult passes instead of his children one and they asked us to go back and get the correct one.

Difference if you book a 'Sun' holiday and if you book with Haven/Park Resorts with the Sun holiday you can make it as cheap as you like and choose to purchase the entertainment passes if you want to, but if you don’t in some resorts you cant use the bar, pool, entertainment etc but this does depend on how strict the resort is some have security and some don’t! When you get your invoice asking to settle the account and phone to pay just say you don’t want the passes etc

Oh it might be worth checking as in some resorts you don’t pay for kids under a certain age

Yes, you don't have to purchase the passes, and bed linen. You do have to pay the service charge though.
