    Parking in Hull?

    Hey guys

Thinking about driving to Hull tomorrow with a couple of mates, to hit the city centre, best place to park?

I'm very car conscious, and don't like parking in busy car parks with tight spaces, prefer to park out of the way on a big car park with no-one parking near me :P

    Any help would be awesome!

there isnt many places really, but werever you park your guna have to pay :-( we got st stephens multi story car park, princes quay multi story car park, albion street car park and the rest are side of road places. there is plenty of places to park in town, but not many that i can think of that wont have other cars around

There are park and ride schemes in Hull. Main one on the A63 into Hull is near Sainsbury's at Hessle.

If you're only in town for 2 hours, then there's free street parking near the Marina. Not many people use it so there's always plenty of room. Head for the Ice Arena and it's a cobbled street near there.

Also at the Ice Arena is a play and display car park (behind Chiquitos and next to the Odeon cinema). Because it's slightly out-of-town and there's free on street parking, it never gets busy. So if you're happy to pay then that's probably your best bet.

How far is that car park from the main town centre, in minute walking? Seems a good idea parking there.

from my experience i'd stay away from princes quay car park some idiot scratched up the front bumper of my car and the spaces are pretty tight.

    +1.

If you're in for two hours or less you could also park in the Tesco car park underneath St Stephens. Likely to be busy tomorrow with it being a Friday though.
