    Passed my test!

Passed my test first time today no minors.

Just wondering where to go for my first trip out? Should I just go round the block a few times? Take someone with me? Really worrying now encase I get something wrong!!

    Cheers

do you ask the internet if you allowed to go too the bathroom also?

1st trip out- Get on the motorway and floor the car , either until it blows up or you get pulled over by the traffic cops

congrats  i passed mine first time too 9yrs ago;-)

Well done on passing, I had one minor on my test and the examiner said they are quite rare.

go out with nobody then if you crash no one will see.
I did it i now i have bike car hgv 2 and hgv1.And to top it off an eye test and passed that first time LOL

Thanks! Yeah my instructor said he's only had 2 in the past couple of years who have had no minors, and only one getting no minors first time. I had so much to contend with on my test too! Loads of kids on bikes purpusely getting in the way, rubbish bin truck to over take etc.

£2100 fully comp on a corsa sxi 2001 via ]ikube otherwise I was getting quotes of £3k +. Rang one insurance company and they said if you can get £2000 I would snap their hand off. I got £1700 on Adrian flux third party, didn't want to risk having third party though.

Congratulatins! I've been driving for 26 yrs now but I still take any new car i get out on my own to get used to it.I find I'm worse when someone else is in the car, same when I have to drive somewhere I've never been before.Do what you feel most comfortable with

Have you thought of doing a plus pass course? Will give you more confidence and it often helps reduce your insurance.

Congratulations  0 minors is amazing, you must be very good, so … Congratulations  0 minors is amazing, you must be very good, so have the confidence in yourself that the examiner clearly did. If you feel nervous still it will pass, things do make you a bit nervous but you will find it's so much easier getting away with them now you dont have 'L' plates on ;-)

Thanks I Had quite a few hours though (45) plus about 20 with my mum. Yeah I think it will be easier without the L plates hopefully people wont try and get on my tail so much!

I think going out on my own first might be the best option going to be very scary though!!!

i passed my test about 6 weeks ago. i do drive around on my own now, but at first, i had my mum with me or another driver just incase i needed a bit of advice or anything. i was going to do my pass plus but my insurer said the difference in my premium would be about £2 less a month so i didnt bother, my instructor instead said i could pay for a 2 hour lesson (£30) and she would go with me to blackpool and back so i get some experience on a motorway. ps. congratulations! xxx

    congratz

congratulations you done really to pass first time

New drivers (and those who have passed their tests and still don't know). Its not your responsibility to regulate other peoples speed. So, if there's a car close behind you, and there's no traffic in front....

GET OUT OF THE BL**DY WAY...
