    Passport renewal

    Well, i need to renew my passport for next year.

    Deciding as i'm a 'man' ( using the word lightly )

    does anyone know if i'm classed as an adult or child?

    i'll be 17 when i renew.

    no, up to 16, although all children under 16 have their own passports

    its definately not 12. I renewed mine when i was 12 or 13 and im still on a child.

    ooops 12 is with flight tickets

    If your over 12 when buying tickets your on adult.

    I don't have my own passport

    you have to apply or a passport, you dont automatically get one from birth - lol

    But 10 years ago you could be on your parents passport - which I'd imagine is the case here?

    Edit.... thinking about it - I think it 11 years ago that this was stopped. My eldest has just turned 10 and we just missed out!
    Edit 2.... We didnt need to get his first passport until he was nearly 2... so it was probably 9 years ago!!!
