Hi, on Mon 25/4, I sent my old passport for renewal to HM passport office but still not had delivery confirmation from Royal Mail (sent Royal Mail 1st class signed for).
Needless to say, I'm concerned. However, I'm aware there's a backlog at the office and perhaps the delay in Royal Mail uploading delivery confirmation can be explained by this even though they're separate organisations?
The delivery schedule is 1-3 days and then I'm supposed to wait a week before starting an enquiry.
Hopefully, someone can allay my concerns. Thanks.
