Hi Guys and Gals,

I will be getting an Iphone on PAYG for hubbys birthday in April. Looking around they are all relatively the same cost. I was planning on buying it on Tesco mobile so that I could collect the clubcard vouchers until I read somewhere (on here I think) that Tesco have restrictions on the web access in that you have to put so much on a month (£30 I think); however reading through the T&Cs on Tescos website I cannot see this. I did phone up and speak to someone with the TescoDirect side of things who was as helpful as a chocolate teapot and then a second person in the pay monthly side of things that was slightly more helpful, but could not confirm either way. He explained that it doesnt stipulate this so it should not be the case.

Has anyone purchased an Iphone from Tesco and can confirm either way for me, it the minimum top up does apply then I will have to go through O2/Apple.

Many thanks for your help, in advance - Sara x

I bought the missus a 16gb 3gs from tesco on saturday-the sim they give you has one years unlimited web and wifi. They also triple your credit on all topups-one thing they dont actually tell you is that the iphones have ten quid credit already loaded too. There is NO minimum topup required to keep the web access going.

So mrs barkys had ten quid already loaded,I bought a 20 quid topup which they have tripled to 60 quid. so she has 70 pounds credit for 20 quid.

Thank you Barky,

Did you go through any cashback sites, Quidco etc? Did you get double club card points as well?

Sorry for all the questions. Sara x
