    Paypal holding payments

I no this is a new rule, where they hold certain payments etc

but my brother has 45 feedback

and sold a mobile (payment was held - feedback left then the next day the funds where released)

now when this happened he called and was told its a security thing and would happen now and then

so anyway he sold a second phone today and again the funds are held

what he wants to no is will this happen all the time for all the phone he sells up to the point that he reaches 100 feedback

i new paypal and ebay where a bunch of gits but this takes the biscuit

That is a pain. Why don't you and your family make purchases too - I'm sure you'd all give him good feedback if deserving.:whistling:

would it be rule breaking to say buy 100 1p items etc, any ideas on how he finds 1p items, its just a pain as thats £400 in two days that paypal will put a hold on and he is only doing it to make extra cash etc

And the thing is you only get it when the buyer leaves feedback. Now Ive sent some stuff which I know the buyer would of got days ago, they havent left feedback, so I havent got my money. PP & Ebay suck...

Hows it PP or ebays fault your buyer can't be bothered to leave you feedback?
Drop them an email asking if they got the stuff ok, and if so could they leave you some feedback, most buyers will if you phrase it so as you are concerned they got their stuff ok rather than begging for fb.

OP its likely to happen every time until he reaches 100

cheers m8, yea just a shame as my brother is worried that one day he will sell something and the buyer will make a false claim etc and he is stuffed as the funds would be held for ages if that happened, and the 1p idea i am not sure if its ok or not

Where did I say it was your fault? It's your buyers fault for being lazy and not leaving feedback.

You can buy whatever you want, but beware buying a load of 1p items would make a lot of people very suspicious, used to be a scammers trick, buy a load of 1p e-books, get loads of feedback to look good, then list loads of expensive items and run with the money.
