paypal now charging you on quidco payments

Found 9th Mar 2009
Had my payment from quidco this month and those theiving &*$%^%'s Paypal have charged me fees on it.

I tried contacting them but they are just pointing out their new terms on things they charge for stating that they have new charges. They keep on saying they refund costs less their paypal fee's .
I tried pointing out that this was not a refund and asked them to show me that if this was a refund where the original payment is.

I have now altered my quidco account to pay BACS.

Just thought I'd let you all know.

Trouble is if you're an ebay user, you don't really have much choice anymore..

Your right.
but you could always not use Ebay either..........

I changed to BACS a while ago op.
It's a good idea as you caould always put some in paypal
if you need it there............

What I meant, is that there are other cashback sites, that pay the same % as Quidco, pay quicker, no £5 admin fee, no charges on withdrawels. No Brainer. :w00t:

Topcashback calls itself "The UKs Most Generous CashBack Site". Seems pretty good... (I only found it the other day, so don't have any experience with it, but I found it through moneysavingexpert)

Now there's a catch 22 if ever I saw one.
Answer: There will NEVER be an auction site the same size whilst
people continue to use Ebay ( despite complaining about fees, paypal
etc ) If more people stopped using Ebay, other auction sites would be
"Ebay size" and/or Ebay would have to change the fees, paypal etc :-D

Its quidco's fault m8, other sites that dont charge use paypals masspay function that doesnt incur fees, sites like Rpoints or Cashbackkings etc use this, never had a penny taken off any paypal payment there.

Then there is Topcashback, getpoundsback, cashbackcascade, cashbackcheif, loyaltyshopper, cashinco, quidsinuk (some of those sites incur paypal fees though) (some of these have great recurrers)

Horses for courses I spose, I use cashbackkings atm, they dont charge a yearly fee like quidco, no paypal fees, and match other sites (whoever pays the most), but I still have a quidco account among others, it would be foolish not too, just incase of any offers or promotions.

join via my refferal (not sure if am allowed to do that here?) remove if not.

or use the plain link

I am pretty sure this will get removed.
Please pm me the refferal link and I will take a look.
I only use quidco atm and, like you say, t's silly not
having another option in case of special offers.
BTW the paypal thing does not really bother me as i
hardly use it anyway.........Thanks

Exchanging referrals is against forum rules guys.

I don't know if its paypal or quido that have changed, but surely all quidco have to do is send the payments by masspay instead then no fees?
