    Paypal resolution problem

    I put a claim into Paypal for non-receipt of an iem at the end of November last year. It took them this long to tell me that the seller has provided tracking details so they have taken their side. This must be because they generate more business for paypal than i do, obviously.

    i didnt receive the item, in fact it was lost first time round thanks to the clowns at DHL.

    I now do not know what to do as its an expensive item and i dont have anything - my money o the item ! Either would be fine for me.

    Can someone please advise who I should contact now ? I have verified that whoever signed for the item did not even use my name!

    If they received the tracking details it must of said delivered otherwise how can they rule against you ?

    I guess just keep on the ebay/paypal and get onto dhl as well. If this cost you a lot go the citizen advise i'm sure you will win in the end as its not you signature.

    I would suggest the fault lies with DHL and would think a call to a manager would be the first port of call and find out what paperwork you need to file a claim

    Get the tracking details from the sender (should be available on the PayPal dispute history) then try a track and trace on the DHL website to make sure it is legit.
    Contact DHL and ask them where the consignment is... if they say it's lost then it will be insured so ask for a claim to be made.
    The claim may have to be made by the sender, not sure.

    i had similar situation but other way round i sent some stuff guy said he never recieved it had proof i posted it paypal ruled in their favour so i stopped using paypal for 2-3 months and one day i had an email from paypal to say exact same amount had been deposited into my account as i had taken out to refund the guy
    i phoned them as i didnt wanna use it in case they then sent debt collectors after me (they do) they said its a goodwill gesture as i hadnt used them for a while
    funny huh ...coincidence i think not...

    I guess first thing to do is contact paypal again with tinkerbell's suggestion (thanks)
    Then DHL if no help
    then citizen advice bureau if no one listens.

    so annoying - i hate paypal with a passion but have no choice but to use them ... and this is why they are thriving !! thieving scumbags
