    Paypal/Ebay issue, yes another one!

Sorry to post another one of these bad boys, but need a bit of advice.

I sold an item on ebay, received payment and posted out same day. Buyer left feedback 15/11/10. However, today I have received an email from Paypal saying that the payment is being reversed (either by buyer, or their bank). When I look at the reversal on Paypal there is a message at the top of the screen saying that the buyer has opened a dispute on Ebay....but there is nothing in my resolution centre?!!?!?!

Thought I would ask on here before ringing Paypal as I don't fancy spending loads of money or time trying to call them. I have emailed them and am awaiting a response.

Anyone else experienced this (don't mean a chargeback, but the fact that there is reference to a dispute and a link to resolution centre but nothing there)?

I am asking because a couple of months ago something similar happened to my Paypal account, but the buyer very quickly responded saying they had not created a reversal, they rang Paypal and the issue was resolved in under 15 minutes. But when this happend a case appeared in my Paypal resolution centre.

Is it Paypal playing silly beggars or am I being scammed?

surely if they left you positive feedback they cant claim to have an issue can they?

    PayPal
    (number that costs) 0870 730 7191

i would call them straight away. as i woudnt expect any money to leave an account without a valid reason

Hmm, I've received a lot of paypal scams in the past 2 weeks. And on my phone its hard to tell the difference so only open paypal emails on my laptop now! Hope its not serious. Get in touch with the buyer firstly, then Paypal next...

Not sure there is anything stopping them doing both? Feedback doesn't close a sale off from what I've experienced but I may be wrong!

Have emailed the buyer, don't think it's a paypal scam, as there were no links to paypal in the email I received. I opened paypal up seperately to check. Gonna try the number posted by Fawcett, thanks
