PC Build Advice Needed Please

Well my PC finally gave up the ghost today in spectacular style I may add...the RAM stick just burst into flames!!!!
This of course has burnt the motherboard rendering it completely useless.

It has served my well (6 years) with a few upgrades along the way

So time for a new PC I think so I'm after some advice

I use the PC for work but not for gaming & would really like to keep cost down as it's only a work horse.

I'm a web designer so I run Dreamweaver, Photoshop, After effects etc..
I have a mointor which is still OK & have a 2TB network hard drive to store files on, I also have a 500GB 2.5 esata hard drive (BNIB) that I'd like to use in the PC.

Also the case is a ATX so maybe I could use that again?

Any combos or advice please guys & girls

I Don't know the make & if I remember rightly it was a ebuyer special
it's got a 2 fans one at the rear & one at the side with loads of room left in there
I was running a KT4AV motherboard if that helps also I have a graphics card I'd like to re-use if poss
a FX5200 or is that out with the ark now :-(

Get in contact with the RAM manufacturer to look for some sort of recompense.

LOL gettting my camera was not my first thought..it was is my home insurance up to date oO

After a afternoon of searching the WWW I've come to the conclusion that maybe I will need a new case as it seems my PSU has not got sata on it
So here's what ive come up with please let me know if you think it's overkill for what I want it to do

Intel Pentium Dual Core E5300 2.6GHz Socket 775 800FSB 2MB L2 Cache Retail Boxed Processor £53.46

Corsair 2GB DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 Memory CL5 1.8V £29.99

Asus P5QPL-AM iG41 Socket 775 onboard VGA 6 Channel Audio mATX Motherboard £34.91

Samsung SH-S223 22x DVD±RW DL & RAM SATA Optical Drive - OEM Black £11.99

Casecom 6630 Black/Silver Mid Tower Case with 450W 24pin SATA PSU £23.99

Total £154.33

Ive been told I can get away without using a graphics card as motherboards are now better than before & will run 3D, Also do CPU's still come with heatsink, fan & paste?

Retail boxed ones do, I would spend a little more on a processor and go for a gigabyte motherboard.

Just my tuppence

Thanks guys
I'll keep you updated on how I get on X)

Would be very wary of using the PSU again anyway... Whilst the RAM is the source of the fire, it isn't necessarily the cause...
