Hi i have a little problem and im a newbie with pcs,
Ive had a pc built and it only has internal graphics at the min
Ive got now a r9 270x dual card ive fitted but... i believe ive installed the drivers for this? And i disable my internal only

Now the 270x fires up the fans etc and when i put the hdmi cable in any of the cards it now is just black screen. Take the power cable out the graphic card (270x) and the internal works again.
Im told to uninstall the internal but my worry is if i cant get this 270x to run will it just black screen on me and cause me more problems?

Thanks in advance :-)

You shouldn't need to disable the internal graphics these days.

The HDMI cable is definitely plugged into the card's outputs and not those on the motherboard?

Make sure you have go into the graphics settings and it is swithced to hdmi output. I had this problem when I tried to switch from tv to monitor. it was in the settings.

All ive done is
Open up the pc slotted this in the top pci ?slot fits
Put the 2 6pin sockets from the 550psu and turned the pc on while the hdmi is in this 270x
And it black screens take it out this to put in the normal hd and thats black screen
