    Pc Memory upgrade

    Hi i was wondering if any pc minded people could help me in upgrading my computers memory. listed below is information on my system and i was just wondering if people could tell me from this what ram i would need to buy and how much memory i could use on my pc. many thanks in advance.

    but very likely your pc will only be able to use around 3.3gb of ram, or you could buy a stick of 1gb to see how it does, see below

    I take it as above that if i bought 2 2g ram that my memory would be 4g max?.
    Also from what i can gather at the minute ive got 2 slots but im only using 1 slot with a 1g of ram is this correct?

    i've got 4gb in my machine, 2 x 2, TBH i didn't really notice a massive difference over the 2gb that were already in it

    give it a go though - crucual advisor will tell you exactly what you need - then just look elsewhere for the cheapest memory

    haven't looked at it but i wouldn't buy this sort of thing from ebay

    better to buy from somewhere you can send it back to if need be
    it's very cheap anyway, 20 or 30 quid from 7dayshop for all that you'll need
