    PC problems need advice

    Window XP - lost my recovery disc if i borrow from my sister will microsoft shut my pc down ? meaning will it turn black?
    any other ways alt-f10 work until wats my pc name and wont go futher.......
    no pc and if cant fix will have to buy a new one....

    don't be such a drama queen!,;-) some answers in your other thread..

    just download a torrent of the version of windows that you had installed, and use that with the COA that should be loacted on the pc case.

    well i'm pretty sure that i'm not allowed to link torrent sites on here, but it's simple.
    Just google the version of windows that you had installed and put torrent on the end eg ' Winows Xp Home Service pack 2 torrent'.
    you will need to install an application such as utorrent to download the torrent,.
    Once it's downloaded burn it to a cd, then follow setup as normal...make sure you input the COA number that will be on your pc (it's just a sticker with a number on it) so that version of windows will be 100% official and licensed to you.

    If Microsoft find out they will hunt you down, put you over a barrel and make you buy another license :w00t:

    If you still have your original license then you need to get hold of an original disc of the same version you had installed.

    It will turn black and drop off. Just stay on the meds :-D
