PC Problems not yet resolved! Please help!

    When I plug something in to a USB port it says Found New Hardware but then flashes repeatedly and says "Please Wait while the Wizard Searches" but never finds anything.

    Can anyone tell me how to resolve this or do I need to contact Dell?

    Have a look at 'My Computer' to see if it is already there?

    I've just bought a new Portable Hard Drive and I'm trying to plug it in. But this happens with everything I try to plug in so there is obviously something wrong with the drivers on the PC Tower.

    Okay, think I've found it on the device manager. Not sure why it doesn't do it automatically, will ring Dell tomorrow to see if they can sort it. Thanks.
