PC World Collect At Store query

I reserved an item using Collect @ Store last night, it showed as £15 odd

This morning the item price has gone up to £20 odd

Will they honour the £15 price? It wasn't a misprice

They should do. I had this kind of problem with an item on asos.com that was bought for a present and then I wanted to return it. Reduced to half price in the Jan sales, but they still gave me the original value I paid. Good luck!!

They won't honour the price unless you have already paid for it. The price you pay is the price the item is on the day.

Print off the confirm email and take it in to store with you, don't take any carp demand to see the manager and they will honour it.

Tried it with me when they sold my reserved kung fu panda DS, I bagged it at £4.99 online. I then bought it from WHSmiths for £28.99 and PC world refunded me the difference

The trouble is I don't have the confirmation email as it is on my laptop at home, I just made a note of the code this morning and was hoping to collect after work

I wouldn't go in there without the email. The spotty teenage assistants will get confused and laugh at you.

They will honour it as long as you have the reservation number

Bunch of con merchants

Got to the store (Bear in mind this caused a considerable extra route on my journey home from work) - Walked in had a look round.

Gave them my collection code and they claimed they NEVER had the item in stock but head office said they had!! Or some stupid excuse anyway.

Then the guy started a sentence 'Have a browse through our other Netbook cases...' and I thought he was about to end it with 'and we'll do a pricematch with the case you reserved'. Did he ******!

I'm strongly tempted to write a letter to head office but it probably isn't worth my time or effort, I've already wasted enough with this carry on
