PC World / DSGI Customer Service!

Found 13th Jul 2010
I recently purchased an item from PC World online.

Two days later I got an email saying theat I'd been refunded (no expanation).
I emailed to find out more...

The replies where one-sided with no "reply to" email address... I also spotted that the email signature on the email looks strange...

How stupid are these multinational companies are: the email is as follows:

Thank you for your email dated 12th July 2010.

The sequence of events on this order yes you was called on Saturday to check the payment, this was processed when it was at the stage of dispatched. The warehouse noticed there was no stock on Monday and as previously advised this was cancelled. As payment was taken a refund was processed back to your account.

This is the only method to send us an email we, no longer have an email address for you to directly email to. You also have the option to contact our aftersales team directly on 0844 561 0000.

The website address located at the bottom of the email is added automatically, this is not the correct website address. This will now be in the process of updating this.

Thank you for taking the time to email us.

Kind regards,

Brett Johnson

And now the website shows the item as back in stock! I will re-order and see what happens!

And the item is?

These guys have awful customer service.
God help you if there is a problem with what yo are buying.

Steer clear of the whole DSGi group. Sharks, the lot of 'em!

Check the written english, no company should be sending out any correspondence as poorly worded as that....
