People who say "haych" instead of "aych"

Do you say the letter H as "haych" and not "aych"? If you answered yes, you're either from Ireland (where that's correct to them) or YOU'RE ANNOYING!......and wrong.

As there's another similar thread, this was on my mind.

don't get me started on "chav". It's been said properly in the north east for decades as "charvs" then some sotherner hears it 5-10 years ago and decides to change it to "chav". People annoy me!!!!

If you read the article you will see that you are arguing about something that changes, whether you or I like it, or not. The English language develops, it is unregulated.

Let's keep the hating to a minimum in this thread and agree that everyone has their things that irritate them about the way others speak, write or do whatever with the English language. Things have become plain nasty in the other one!

Hhhhhhhhhhaych, so what! Who cares, really, people have accents get over it!

I used to have a teacher who pronounced it as 'haych'. I had him sacked, albeit for unrelated reasons.
