agreed you can usually find things cheaper through this forum too. I'm still trying to recover over £350 quid that a powerseller with 100% feedback (nearly 1000 with no negs) took from me back around august and failed to deliver. he then closed his ebay account and probably just opened another :x. wouldn't buy anything that cost more than a fiver off there now.

I would also much rather pay a little more for something with a warranty on it than buy from someone with no comebacks, like this for example orangeaccessories.co.uk/rec…tml

I got ripped off many years ago on an auction site cant remember what it was called think it was something like freeserve, or summat like that, i purchased a wade pig and after i won it i just knew it was gonna be fake, it turned up, yes it was fake, no replies from emails to seller etc, etc anyway tracked him down to ebay same username there and selling same fake wade, i emailed through their and told him i was taking him to small claims court, he soon replied to that to saying he hadnt recieved mails on other site, etc,etc anyway returned pig and thankfully got every penny back

good to hear you got your money back well done for that. I've had to go through the small claims court to try and recover mine. It's cost me a further £80 (ish?) so far and I haven't heard anything since a warrant was issued against him in november, so i'm not holding my breath. Don't really care about the cash, more the principle whether it's £10 or £10000 no one likes getting ripped off. Bet the op changes their opinion about ebay the first time it happens to them.

now you tell me ;-) but is it locked to Orange I needed an O2 one. Oh and … now you tell me ;-) but is it locked to Orange I needed an O2 one. Oh and I'm going to be phoning O2 as soon as I get it to tell them I've bought it on ebay and have a receipt for it from the seller who's name and address is so and so, if they try to pull an insurance scam don't block my phone

lol that was a 2 min search, could have done better given more time :p. good tip about calling o2 btw

Does anyone else bid on things they don't really need just for the thrill … Does anyone else bid on things they don't really need just for the thrill of bidding, only to win it and think oh I didn't really need that? I can't help myself ahhhhh! Just bought an N73 for £72 I already have another one but the Nokia Service centre broke it so it's useless as it only lasts 12hrs before the battery is dead, now he's blaming ingress water damage.Bought a Gig of RAM for my laptop for £23 don't need that, bought two games for Xbox (I never pay full price) I don't need them but I just can't stop.

PM me if you want my listing numbers

Most of the time im just looking for things i may need not that i really do need the things im looking for.
