Don't worry about trying to figure out the format of the pictures, the code doesn't work in the first post.

lol thanks! no wonder!

uninstall it and use Avast, doesnt slow me down, I installed Kaspersky last week, I uninstalled it 4 days later as it was killing my speed.

I use ZoneAlarm security suite (Firewall, AV & Anti-Spyware) - it's fantastic & my O2 BB is fine on it

I was using Avast also before I changed to Kaspersky. Yes, Avast didn't have any problem. But I bought Kaspersky looking for an all-in-one package with firewall. I guess I can try Avast anti-virus and zonealarm combo but since I bought Kaspersky already, I want to try and figure this out.

Maybe when you turn on Kaspersky, it starts to download the updates, thus using up some of your downstream bandwidth therefore appearing to slow down your broadband. Try leaving it on for a bit before testing it again.
Just noticed it was affecting the downstream speed and not the upstream one.
If it's not downloading then it must be the settings somewhere in Kaspersky.

I've made sure nothing is downloading when I do the testing. I have tried all the settings from default to setting it the lowest level or even turning it off. I just can't seem to find the right combination in order for it to work.

at a command prompt run netstat /a

please post the output here

:xi also purchased last week at a good price from here have emailed and asked for my money back thinks it crap:x
