    Very true, I didn't learn until I rented my own place at 20 and started paying my own bills. I found myself going round my mum's and turning HER lights off...and my sisters...and my girlfriend's mum's...and anyone else's house I go into for that matter ;-)

    but right now I've got a 800watt heater in the attic trying to dry out the ceiling after I knocked a pipe off the boiler and water has gone everywhere! my own house i'll add so no insurance claim, unless the ceiling falls through in which I'll just repair myself.

    I still live at home and am sick of turning the tv/radio/lights off after my dad! He takes a plate into the kitchen and turns the radio on - he hears 2 words and hes back out!

    We have a 'Eats shoots and leaves' calendar, talking about mistakes in grammar, one I like is....

    There's a third line isn't there ?

    "Women: Without her, man is nothing but happy and content."

    Always amused me that the Womans Liberation Front used to chant Happiness for at least 2 minutes daily getting slower and slower to gain total fulfilment.

    My mum used to say it worked, have you tried it ??

    suze;1597985

    What do you take me for?!?! :roll:

    Someone with a sense of humour ? :p:)

    That was 2 hours of chanting BTW supposed to be 2 minutes, lol

    suze;1598040

    LOL.........you make me laugh!!! :giggle::giggle:

    I'll have to just hope that's a compliment, anything else would be just too painful to this old man.

    Thanks !! :thumbsup: :-D

    Feel free

    The calendar we got this year wasnt as good as last year, most are quite boring! Last years was better, and we have a similar book, so will post some from that!

    People may doubt what you say, but they will always believe what you do

    Yes, that's the reason why you get so many misunderstandings on here and, of course, in real life! You might not be convinced by someone just 'saying sorry' but if they give you a big hug you can feel whether they mean it or not!:)
