Many years ago but it is a beautiful city with lots to see and do.
I went to Prague with my hubby and it was a fab weekend on a low budget. Just a bit of advice - dont wear heels - the entire city is made up of cobblestones - I wore heeled boots and got blisters on the first day!!
Yeah very nice, most areas are pretty touristy but theres still lots of cool stuff to do and see. And, of course, drink, especially if you like absinth!
Never been but told its a great place to visit. Be very wary of pick pockets and being slipped a mickey fin and getting mugged.
Yes, loved it. The river boat cruise is one of the very few ones I've enjoyed as well. They have super little concerts in small venues in the city in the summer. Brilliant place.
It's become a bit of a stag night hot spot. With cheap flights and very pretty women. Guys are picking Prague over Dublin and Amsterdam now.

I thought that they'd got fed up in Prague with the stag night thing so had cracked down (not too heavily) so the stage nights had moved on to other E European capitals.
What do I know??

Anyway, there were stag nights when I was there but I thought that they were groups of soldiers for some reason.
If you fancy eastern europe try latvia, slovakia, ukraine, hungary etc.Would recommend Odessa in Ukraine or Bratislava in Slovakia, without a doubt the hottest women around
Just watch out for the taxi drivers.

Rip-off bar stewards
Going to these countries always remind me of those Hostel films:shock:

Worst one we've had was in Barcelona. Prague ones we had were fine.

You're right about Barcelona Taxi's. Went on a med cruise which docked there. Went sight seeing but forgot about time to get back to the ship. When I realised, I only had half an hour to get from the other side of the city to the docks and ended up paying the equivalent of about £75 to travel 6 miles!! Had to pay him up front too, otherwise we had to get out of the car.
It's a tram mecca nightmare to drive around, I think EasyJet have cancelled the Prague route so will have less tourists there now. I covered the city in a day on my BMX. Stayed a night at a campsite at the top of the big hill
