that sounds really good since its only a 12 month contract and not 24 like most of the rest

That £20 contract is excellent.

£669 with all calls, text and data included.

Yep, 12 month contract is loads better than the 18 & 24 month ones offered by 02, orange & vodafone.

The big question is, when will they be available ???

anyone know about tesco unlocking them?

With the 3G/3GS they gave you an unlock code after the end of the term of the contract

massmail666;8898206

free?

I believe so - it just states it in the terms.

Whether they do with the iPhone 4 - no idea.

looks good, what's the coverage like with Tesco? I'm on o2 simplicity at present

Was in 2 minds about getting one but the Tesco price and 12mth contract looks very good :whistling:

Tesco = 02 : Tesco piggyback on the o2 network

If you're a tesco staff, they have iphone deals that even beat these plans.

Can tesco staff give their discount to family/friends?

this is what it said on moneysupermarket.com about unlocking;

Tesco will only allow you to unlock 12 months after purchase, even on Pay As You Go deals according to its press office. This is annoying as occasional deals make it the cheapest place to get a PAYG handset.

Whichever tariff you're on, it'll charge you £20 to unlock the phone, yet since it offers a cheap £15/mth rolling contract (see out of contract section) deal with unlimited data and 500 mins, you might not need to anyway.

Well gutted bought an Iphone 3gs on Tesco network 23 days ago.

Do you reckon i can return it for the new one despite it being used??

not sure, I think it has to be in a staff name, or the staff member present when it is activated.

I can find out for you tomorrow if you want to know Gary

Let me know too! (Not interested for me... but my missus is whinging I'm changing my phone and said she wanted to upgrade her 3G. Got a mate who works for Tesco.

12 month on 20 a week it is! Great prices.

JUst had it confirmed by the guy in my local Extra. Goes on sale at 0900hrs, not able to reserve one and they haven't been delivered yet so he doesn't know how many he is getting in. Confirmed the tariffs (heard him turning pieces of paper whilst he did so). WIth the 1000 clubcard points equalling £40 in rewards, this works out cheaper than a sim free from Apple (with quidco) and a sim only contract with quidco from vodafone.

Have some rep OP.

Normally 10% off a month, but there are also "special staff deals" on the iphones, which are 12 / 24 month and aren't available to normal customers. Will get a price list and the answer to friends / family
