    That looks well cool

    I want one!

how much will it cost.........??...... anyone like to guess??!!........:p

    i got one yesterday

All it needs is a fancy GUI and you can do all that via Bluetooth on any phone.

    whatsThePoint

    I cex'd mine last week

    Romford??

So it's just a big fancy docking station. How useless is that. I'd much rather just have the GUI on my laptop or PC, as most people already have one of them.

    *sigh*

ok, so the dock will likely weigh less than most laptops at a guess, and likely cost a lot less than any half-decent laptop. If you've got £500 worth of dual-core computer in your pocket already, why would you particularly want to buy another seperate device, which you then need to lug around etc?

it's not aimed at desktop replacement but I'd guess commuters/travellers wanting something light and to avoid carrying around too much unnecessary stuff for a light bit of web browsing etc.

Also as a final point - a lot of mobile networks prohibit tethering on their phone plans. But this wouldn't be tethering now would it, since it's still just the phone... which might make for a few interesting debates down the line

It's an interesting concept and one Nvidia themselves will become standard in the future although I don't think it's quite there yet, reviews of the system indicate performance isn't quite good enough for a netbook style machine and application support looked to be an issue as it needed specific applications. I also don't like the position of the dock on the back, someone suggested it slot into the front of the laptop and became a touchpad as well as showing the current screen view (rather than wasting space on the main screen) which seemed a better idea.

oh and battery life of course...

Well, that's just computing generally, there's plenty I can't run on most retail bought PC's because 'they need specific applications'.

What it does include is a XenApp client so any business users can run natively their business apps from their businesses servers and have it displayed locally as if it's a local application.

Can you? Great. Well point me at the dual-core version of the iPhone 4 with a docking station and an open enough platform I can fiddle with and I'll buy it.

Oh that's right, it doesn't exist, for any of those criteria.

Why does it all seem to imitate apple style, are they incapable of individuality...also it sort of reminds me of when TVs came with inbuilt DVDs, interesting in theory, but not quite right in practicality

    Seems incredibly pointless.

Most people have a laptop and a smartphone, so I fail to see the point.

In fact I don't see how the method in the video is any quicker than using Google Maps on a phone.

    A product without a point.

Dual core is only useful if you want to open more than 1 App & I don't so don't see why it's such a big WoW.

So to clarify, you can't do any of that on the iPhone 4 so we can drop that argument? Good.

(and yes, the 'more than one app' argument is utter rubbish. more than one thread might have got you a little milage until you realise this isn't the 1980's)

You literally have no idea what you are talking about, you also have no … You literally have no idea what you are talking about, you also have no idea about multi core CPU's and are just talking rubbish.

Well why don't you enlighten me ?
