+1 with tesco as well have been for last 2 years seem to be good cover competive price

We're with directline, have been with them for almost 2 years.... haven't had to use the insurance, but know that with our vets that they would wait for payment to come from the insurers if we ever did have to claim for treatment/vets bills... so less worry that way than having to find the money to pay and then claim back from insurers.
I know that the insurers still have to be notified before any treatment (if possible), but still takes a lot of the worry away.... the only bad point is that we started off paying £13 p/mth or so for the first year and then it went up to £17 p/mth for this year.. but he's worth it

Mornin'. we have 3 dogs and two cats so as you might imagine I shopped around dramatically. By far Sainbury offered the best pet insurance @ the best price. Easy on-line app and can do direct debit payment for your coverage monthly.

We have 5 cats and are all insured with Sainsburys. They offered us the best policy and costs about £7 per month per cat and you get £45 back if your with Quidco.

We have claimed 4 times and there has never been a problem, even when one bill came to nearly £1500, they have never increased the premiums and always pay out promptly.

    Worth getting a quote.

Petplan as they allow you to keep claiming for an existing condition for the life of the animal.

Most policies do, one of our cats had a kidney disease and we claimed for ages for that with no quibbles, just had to pay the first £50 of treatment and they paid the rest until she eventually became too ill and went to the great cattery in the sky.

check out some reviews of your chosen companies

my collie has needed two lots of treatment for injuries and the payout was simple and relatively quick
