I think the garage owners and Mr Brown are forgetting the people who spent a conciderable amount of money converting their cars to LPG, to aid the environment and help to keep the cost of motoring down.
Notice the price of LPG goes up when the price of petrol and diesel does, but never comes back down..
What happened to the deficit Mr Brown??

so, I've just heard on the news that the world price of oil is under $70 a barrel now...Soooooo the price of oil per barrel has dropped now over 50% so why has the price at the pump only dropped 10%?......

That would be 50% of the oil companies portion, as most is tax that won't be affected, more's the pity

Guess what Mr. Brown has nothing to do on how much companies charge for their products.

All he can do is raise and lower their taxes, which I wish he would do to the energy and utility jokers. But thats also what the 'wolves' are waiting and are yearning for.

Headlines... "Trotzski Brown SuperTaxes!!!"

Mark,
Did you get your own car converted?
How much did it cost?
How long did it take?
Where does the tank go?
How much is the fuel?
What car is it?

Nosey bu**er ain't I.

Because this is what they do every single time.

Price of oil goes up or duty increase on fuel is announced, prices on the forecourts go up overnight.

Price of oil comes down, they'll claim they are still high as it's older stock purchased at the higher price.

win/win for the petrol stations!
