Philips hue led strip around corners

hi,
struggling to get them to stay on the back of my pc monitor as they don't go around corners very well because they are flat so no matter how you stick them they come away.

you can cut these and join back up and seen on amazon for £16 4 extensions cables that u can flex but I'd need to spend another £16 on the male connectors to join them back up.

anyone found a cheaper way?
