Phillip 'earning three times more than Fern'

Found 6th Feb 2009
The Sun reports that Phillip is pocketing £45,000 per show to host the second series of Mr And Mrs while Fern will take home £15,000 for each programme.
A source from the show told the paper: "Fern asked for the same pay cheque as Phil but there isn't a huge production budget.

"Phillip's pay is basically pre-agreed, while Fern is only on an exclusive daytime deal with ITV. Fern won't be aware of this pay difference."

Phillip is believed to be earning more because of his £2million exclusive contract with ITV, which also includes his presenting duties on Dancing On Ice.

Ratings for Richard and Judy's latest show are so low that they are now costing satellite channel Watch £181 per viewer.

The presenters signed to the channel last year in a £1million deal, however, ratings for their show have now dropped as low as 11,000, reports the Daily Mail.

Richard And Judy's New Position launched with 100,000 viewers last October but viewing figures have dropped dramatically since then.

The show continues to attract big-name guests but has failed to find an audience, despite moving to a new 6pm timeslot.

The couple enjoyed audiences of up to three million viewers for their teatime show on Channel 4, which also introduced viewers to their popular book club.

It was seen as a gamble when they announced last year that they were moving to Watch - and it doesn't seem to have paid off.

Good for them if you have it, charge for it, they would not get that kind of money if the viewing public err did not view.!

dont like richard n judy

i still don't think fern is in favour with the british public, after her keeping quiet and her gastric band.

i still like her but she should have come clean about her op straight away

whilst phil is still the blue eyed boy.
