I'm tighter than a duck's bum when it comes to phones, looking for a contract phone. Looking for a greater amount of texts than minutes, less than £20?

Not too fussy on the phone, pref NOKIA.

Thanksssss,
J

:giggle: Nice to know I am not the only one!

Family of teens. 3 contracts due to expire soon.

 going nuts looking at deals. I am the opposite of above, few texts and to be honest not that many calls either but that may increase soon.

x2 teens, lots of texts etc. Looking for all same supplier (3 separate bills arrive now) Not sure contract is the way to go.

Sorry to hijack this thread but at end of tether. Either way, I pay for them all so looking for good deals. Cash backs are a pain when you have to do more than one but I understand maybe big savings to be made.

Any suggestions much appreciated guys.

I believe the cheapest contract around at the moment (ignoring any cashback deals) is the Three £15 talker (or £15 texter) - my gf has just signed up. You can get a free Nokia 6288 or 6120 and £55 from Quidco, but it is an 18m deal.

iglimpse, i got a good idea to save you loads,

make them pay for the contracts themselves!!!! (of half anyway)!!!!!!

One is 12, cannot make her work yet...shame. Lost her mobile a few weeks ago. Have made her wait for another...but it's me who is finding it hard not to keep tabs on where she is so I now have to give in, mainly safety issue.

Other is 17 and soon off to Uni, have agreed that he will pay his own then. Pays £23 per month and is trying to convince me it is still the best deal...I am not convinced. Just trying to reduce his overall debt and make him see that he has to shop around...that's the problem with fussy mothers!!

I was working at 11, and I'm only 16 now! Yes I know the contract has to be in an 18+ names, strings are pullable :whistling:

Yeh, I'm thinking about the £15 texter contract offered by three, the only problem is 75minutes, I'm likely to go over that because can get a bit careless on pay as you go, and not realise how long I've talked for, hence why I prefer texting, its cheap,er Will probably go via Quidco with the three contract if I decide to take it, so basically with the 18month contract it'll be effectivly paying for 3months, meaning to me its a 15month contract.

Hmm.
