Phone contract for my son

Hiya i'm looking at getting a contract phone for my son, he normally use's around £15 a month on PAYG so i want a contract for £15 with possibly unlimited texts as this is what he use's the most.
Now what i want to know is, is there any contracts that won't allow him to go over his limits, so if he has unlimited texts & 100mins a month, he can't exceed his 100 mins and run up a bill, if his contract is £15 it will always be £15 so no nasty suprise bills arriving

Any help regarding this matter would be much appreciated
Thx

Had my 15 year old on a contract. 4 months into it and aprox £50 over the line rental. Just got him the Virgin sim for £10 a month. 200 minutes and unlimited texts. The contract is still running for another 12 months, but I have took it off him. KIDS

Sounds like a cracking deal, so you pay £10 a month & you get 200 mins & unlimited texts for as long as you want, or this a special offer that can change at anytime ?
Also can this sim be used in most phones, or will only work in certain phones
Thx
How do i add rep to you guys & gals for helping

I have just checked and the offer is still on. My husband uses his with a lg viewity , and my Son uses his with a Nokia. Whatever phone you have will be fine, just may need unlocking to any network. May cost £10. The offer when it changes will be 200 texts. Grab it now. Will not change once you are on it. Been with Virgin for 4 years.

Also consider the o2 text and web tariff which is still PAYG top up £15 in a month and you get unlimited texts and unlimited web, and still have the £15 to spend on calls or bolt-ons etc. which can really make it go a long way, plus treats, surprises and rewards which is 10% of your top ups back every quarter. you can top him up automatically via direct debit i think (if you wanted) and if he needed extra credit for any reason, he can always buy himself a voucher. and being PAYG theres no chance he can go over.

I got my son a new viewty phone on £15 contract with 3 he gets unlimited texts 300 free to other 3 users, 70 minutes talktime, free messenger, skype, and certain free internet usage, i've set a credit limit of zero, so no unexpected bills, the only trouble is that in certain area's you dont get great coverage, check on the 3 website if you get good coverage
