Phone Insurance?

I've got an 18month contract and want to buy a sim free handset because the phone I have is boring me.

Anyone know how/the best way to go about insuring a brand new sim free handset. I'm looking for good loss/theft cover, has anyone got a good reccomendation for a company/policy for mobiles, where if I need to claim, there isn't a lot of hassle etc ...

I lost my n70 in a club last year, and it took ages to get sorted out. They even at one point tried to offer me a list of worse handsets because the n70 had been discontinued!

Cheers for any info!

I'll ask my parents what cover they have. I'll be living at uni come next month ... So I figured I'd have to get some external company or something to cover the phone on its own or something for a fiver a month etc ...

I'll have to check endsleigh student room insurance - I should have got cover for my uni possessions/room last year but ended up forgetting until it wasn't worth it! so ended up not having insurance at all!
