Phone Line Problem

    Afternoon All,

    On Saturday I had my home phone line activated. I was told by sky that i didnt need to be at home when the BT engineer comes as he doesnt need access to the flat to activate the phone line. Anyways on saturday evening my mum tries to ring my new line and it kept ringing and went through the the answerphone service provided by sky.

    Now the problem is yesterday i went and got phone for my flat and plugged it in and no dial tone or anything!

    Does this mean my phone line hasnt been activated is it that i have faulty phone?

    If you use twitter then tweet @BT CARE with your details....they are great if I have ever had a problem.....they normally call you back straight away and are very efficient.....much better than going through the usual performance
