I'm trying to update an old portfolio in Photoshop CS which I need to take and get printed - most likely at Staples. However I think I've got a problem with the file set up in terms of the paper size which I need to be on A3.

Settings:
*Image Image size the box says:
Pixel Dimensions W=4961 x H 3508 pixels
Document size 42cm x 29.7 cm
*Image at Canvas Size its saying 42cm X 29.7cm and I thought this is A3.

So Ive saved each page as a JPEG to take to the shop but the dimensions of the file are 4961x3508 pixels and somehow I dont think this is A3

Does anyone have a clue about this?

thanks for the quick reply!

So according to that second link then 4961 x 3508 is in fact A3 and should print fine?

4961 pixels x 3508 pixels is A3 (420mm x 297mm)

Just make sure resolution is 300 pixels/inch or above.

cheers, yes it's set at 300
I'm just a bit confused as when you go to a full 100% view the page looks ridiculously huge which I don't think is right but if the JPEG files are saying 4961 pixels x 3508 pixels then it has to be correct...

Pay no attention to the scale. I work on photoshop all day, and the scale is only beneficial to see true image quality (when working with web graphics ect).

If you have something at 100% on screen you will get an idea what the quality of the image is.
If you view at 125% or 75% (and then on either way) you are getting a magnification of the pixels.

The actual size of the document cannot be viewed in this way.
