save as jpeg, sorry iof thats not what you mean

should be able to do it the menu on the camera as well, so that it takes up less space on the memory card in the camera. Try going through the menu on the camera.

picresize.com/

will do the job if you dont have a picture editor on your pc, if you do have one then you need to load the picture up you want resizing and select resize off the menu

copy all camera photos to PC first. Work on these not the originals.

Also most Digital cameras save as jpg already(when compact) even some DSLRs so you will have to resize them from say 3264x2448 to 1600x1200 or even 800x600 or 1024x768

You probably wouldn't want to do this as it's the original you are altering.

You can never increase the size (quality) again if you wanted to get a print - originals are best left as the highest quality possible on your camera. Memory cards are so cheap now that it isn't worth scrimping!

ETA - agree with the poster below - "resize" is a great tool.

Thank you all it done the Job! You guys ar great! Hae an excellent day

On my computer I have windows xp and microsoft outlook. If you have the same I find the easiest way to resize a picture to the smallest setting is to highlight the pictures you want resized, choose the option on the picture task menu (which should automatically be displayed on left hand side) and select email these files. Then it comes up with a choice to either keep original size or make all my pictures smaller. Select that option (it's the default) It'll add all these smaller pictures as attachments in an email and from there I just save each one then delete the email.

Wow to buying a camera that takes 2.5Mb photos then downsizing them. You'll regret it in years to come unless you have kept the originals?
