They are a french company that sends the goods from a warehouse near paris somewhere. It has some great prices (I think its something to do with not having to pay VAT, not sure), however, if the product is faulty or not what you required you can return it....Nothing strange about that I hear you say...only you have to return it to the warehouse in france at your cost. I bought a HDD recorder from them and the website said it had built in Freeview, however when I received it that feature was not included, and miraculously the website page had been edited to the correct features. I could return it for a full refund, but this refund would not include the cost of the return postage. As I would need to insure the goods for transit to France the postage quoted was £60. I felt this was slightly extortionate and decided to buy a freeview box with my money instead. Needless to say I will not use the company again.

I'm with ultimo on this, returns can be a nightmare with Pixmania and their customer service is appalling.

There are a lot of other people on this forum who will not buy from this firm on principle

thank you lots, its like you said, the prices are great but i think local goods return is best for me and cheaper.

....and the manuals they supply are in French and the power leads are continental ones as well....

Specially now that we've knocked them out of the world cup!!

More importantly we also beat them at the conkers world championships.
