Am gonna make a pizza this week. On some pizzas the base is covered with an ingredient which is yellow and like small grains of sand. Anyone know what it is?

Its not flavouring, I guess polenta seems the closest so far. But not sure if it is.

no i wasn't thinking of that stuff. i was thinking of a grainier stuff that comes on cheap frozen pizzas.
