Pizza Hut Measley 20p Donation To Children In Need?

So just been sent an email from Pizza Hut with a "Pudsey Pizza Deal" costing £25 and stating that 20 whole pence from that will be donated to children in need? 20P?!? Surely a joke because that is unbelievably embarrassing! The amount of mark up they make and they are only willing to donate 20p of that to charity in order to advertise using pudsey. Any other opinions on this? I think its disgusting!

That's so they can use their Pudsey logo to show how much they care- why not write to them to show your disgust?

Have just seen they have been ripped to shreds on Facebook about it when posting this deal on there. I think they will get everyones opinion on the matter

That's generous of them . Go to Asda , buy the component parts for a tenner and donate £15 to children in need . Wonder how many people go for it without realising this is such a measly donation

Have also seen that Asda are donating 50p on each of their £3.50 pizzas!

Surely every little helps? You can't expect all companies to throw all their profits to charities.

Yes, every little helps but its a joke how little it is. They are likely to get more profits from using the pudsey logo than they donate to the cause. They are basically abusing the charity for more profit

Yet if they had done nothing they wouldn't have received any vitriol. Companies really can't win.

They can win, they can give generously like some companies do, which not only is for a good cause, but in the long run gives them a good name, so that is incorrect, sorry.

    So don't support them.

Instead, you give a percentage of your salary to charity.

See how long you put up with that.
