I bought a battery charger for my Sony Alpha DSLR camera from following a deal from here priced at £9.99. The courier delivered my parcel a few days later. When I opened it it was a drum unit DR-500 my delivery note showed it as being a DR-500 Drum unit for a HL-7050 printer! I informed play via email. After a few days I get this email:-

Incompetence sadly seem to have taken a few steps back. Im sure if you popped an email along to the CEO you might get a free voucher as an apology

i couldn't even find an email to contact them - i've been trying for a month to get hold of them - all i get is a standard 'we do not read these emails' reply - and if you ring you are promised - by someone whose English is better than my understanding of their language - but not great - the world - but nothing happens - they are cheap when it goes well - but after service of it doesn't is poor !

Thought the stuff came from Jersey too - so wonder why its going back to England ?!

I had a similar incident with play recently, which has made me try to avoid them, unless the price is really right.

I bought 3 blu rays, 1 turned up promptly, in a used and dirty condition, but was wrapped in a cheap heat shrink. So I contacted them as you do, sent it back as above. And never heard another thing.

No receipt conformation, nevermind the other blu rays. Out of interest, after the 21 days and nothing i checked the deal and for the 2 for £18, one was back up to £24. So I believe someone has made a mistake somewhere. And 50 days in and still missing 3 blu rays. Got my money ofcourse, but still, there losing their touch. After service is rotton.
