    Play.com Contact Help Please

    Basically - i am after contact details for Play - i have used both numbers on the site but am only speaking to someone from somewhere far away who says they will forward my problem urgently but no one ever phones back.

    Has anyone got another number other than the 0800 number and 01534 number if non-UK which goes through to the same number ?

    Or an email box than you can expect a reply from ?

    For info - I ordered something over a month ago and it says my card is being declined even though i resubmit it every daqy (each time funnily enough i get an extra email telling me it has been declined 0 i am now up to 23 after this mornings try !) - i have used it successfully since the first problem at Amazon, Tesco, Co-op, Next, HMV and loads of other places as its the onlycredit card i have and i used it daily to get the points on it and pay it of at the end of the month - so goodness only knows what the problem is ! I don't want to cancel and re-order as it has increased in price by £4 - not much i know - but enough to be really annoying.

    Can anyone help ?

    phone your bank!, they may have blocked the card from certain places, probably from all the times you have tried to access it at play and it looks suspicious

    esp when you do over the phone purchases, thats a card not present purchase and doesnt have the same identification as purchasing using online , and often shows up and gets blocked at the bank, so again call them i'll bet they have placed a block on the card or at least card not present purchasing, should have been your first step!

    you wont get anywhere with any more numbers, they all comeback to the call centre, and email will only be dealt with by the same people

    not sure i could get near 23 times charging to my card before i called my bank!

    i did call the card issuer and they don't understand what the problem is and said its Play's end - they can't see anything wrong with the card - or see it being a problem. The card is stored on Play - you can't remove it - only edit the details.

    I can't help OP,but i find that annoying,you can only edit card details,not remove them,is that legal ?
