    Play.com returns procedure

I purchased an electrical item from play.com 6 months ago, and it has just recently stopped working. I want to return it to Play, but the online returns system won't allow me to select the item (since it was ordered more than 28 days ago) I've tried E-mailing them at [email protected]play.com, but I just got an automated E-mail back from them saying the E-mail is unmanned these days.

If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I think I will, cheers mate. I'm just a bit annoyed at the website, and the inability to contact them online.

I will try to get this right ..
got to your account and look for the stuff you have ordered, and if its in the date for returns there is an option to return it, they ask whats wrong and how you want to have a refund or another item..
then they will send you an email with a returns code on it, then print this out, get your item box it and send it back RECORDED.. thats a must..
You should get a refund and your postage
    hope this helps dc

Yeah, this is what I've done in the past, but for some reason, only things ordered in the last 28 days are showing as being available for return. This item was purchased 6 months ago, but is surely still under it's years waranty with Play. Thanks anyway though.

Warranty (if any) with anything you buy from play.com is with manufacturer. Play.com are not a UK company so are not covered by Sale of Goods Act etc. One good reason for never buying anything that costs more than about £5 from them.

I had the same problem with a Nextlink invisio headset, couldnt select the item in the returns page and it was only 3 weeks old, also couldnt email them as they dont publish an email address, tried phoning them and was pushed from pillar to post, actually gave up in the end,
