Playstation 3 help regarding saved game date off PS2

I'm wanting to sell my Playstation 2 console,I've already got a buyer for it as he said he's buy it off us when we got a PS3 and he called up asking about it tonight when it be ready for him to take it cos he knows I bought the PS3 a couple wks back,he going pay £40 for it plus with Fifa 07,I've had it since 2002 and so have had my money worth and its good price for it.

Anyway I have some games saved up on the memory card on PS2 that I rather not lose ( something like 70 hrs or so of FFX-2 and I am on the last level of Tomb Raider Anniversary ) so does anyone know if I can transfer the saved game data somehow over to the PS3.I could probably get to the end of T.R but I be losing a lots of hrs of F.F and I don't get much time to play them, let alone start again.I do keep my Final Fantasy games so it would be a matter of time when I would start it again, the Tomb Raider games I usually sell as soon as I've finished.
So can it be done anyway?

Thanks in advance.

My partner says we should be able to use it and then sell it if its like an instanst transfer and you not need the adaptor in permanently then if thats the case I could just sell it straight away.
I had a look on eBay just now and too many sellers in U.K are ripping off buyers again, charging 1p buy it now and like £8 ish postage,I bet these are like £1.20 to send!
Likely I will go for the official one and just resell it straight awya if its instanst and is back up inside the memory itself.
Rep left btw.

off topic.

How are they ripping you off if your only paying 8 quidish.
They put the postage costs up and keep the item cost down to avoid eBay fees.

Would you soon have 1.20 postage and the cost of the item £6.80 ?

Its against eBay rules to go over the top on postage to avoid their ebay fees,I sell on there and I don't overdo it on postage so I don't expect others to do it,eBay do nowt about anything thats supposedely against their rules anyway.
I only buy off ebay if the seller is charging reasonable postage amounts, simple as that, that goes the same with every item I buy on there,if reasonable postage costs are not on there stated then simply I don't bid or buy end of.

One of the funniest I saw was a HK Star Wars boxset, all 6 films and extra dvds. on buy it now for 1p with 89.99 postage(From the UK!)
