    Playstation 3- Where to buy?

Hi all, i am seriously condiering buying a PS3, but i have noticed whilst searching the net for possible deals that some websites' prices are totally different to others- as well as different packages on offer.
does anyone know the best place to buy a ps3? anyone know of any vouchers/ best deals avaliable at the moment?
is it true that there is an upcoming price cut?

    Cheers

nah, nowhere near plymouth- west yorkshire in fact.
how come they're £300 down there?

apparantly there is a 20% price cut coming in summer..

Just don't buy from Dabs.com. I'm having the worst experience from them. I never recieved my PS3..... and they blame Home Delivery Network, and Home Delivery Network blame Dabs. HDN have a premium number and don't seem to know what they're talking about, and Dabs.com's customer service is recorded answerphone..... Bad service or what !!

insanity that seems pretty harsh from dabs, geez thanks for the warning

Sorry to hear that insanity. Slightly off topic but personally I would not use any company that employs Home Delivery Network to courier items. They are an appalling company - a bunch of amateurs - and as you have experienced they have no way of tracking. However this also reflects poorly on DABS as well.

I cannot understand how HDN keep winning contracts (e.g. Tesco). They must be undercutting significantly. I am not sure Amazon are using them as much as they were late last year, when I had one of several bad experiences with them.

Couldn't agree more. I live in Devon, quite rural but not off the beaten track and have had really bad delivery experiences with Dabs. On two seperate ocassions i was told (a) the driver could not find my house, (easily found using tom tom) and (b) another driver tried phoning, i did not hear the phone so went to ansapone and both times were considored by Amtrak to be delivery attempts!!!!. so unfortunatly have boycott dabs now although the company itself are good their choice of courier has put me and a lot of people i know off. :x
