Totally off-topic - since I want to give rather than buy - I have a load of stuff to get rid of and, since my other half puts me to shame in terms of charity givings, I wish to sell on ebay and donate to a childrens charity.

I'm looking for a charity which benefits UK children specifically.

I know there are 100's of charities out there but I give a regular donation by DD to the NSPCC each month. With so many charities I guess it's hard to choose.

Let us know when you decide.

Thanks edi - it wasn't obvious to me how to donate to UK only at savethechildren, the barnardos website didn't work here and whixx-kid looked non uk specific and so my money will be shared between nspcc and nch. I don't like messing around.

Ian, I am sentimentally attached to Save the Children charity for personal reasons. They do work all over the world.

Good decision Ian
