Please any advice re selling PAYG Mobile

Just looking for some advice regarding a PAYG mobile which I just sold on ebay, they guy that has bought it has asked if I would be able to give him my original receipt incase the phone devlopes a fault and he could take it to be repaired, which I can understand, but am a bit dubious incase its something that can come back and cause me problems, please could anyone advise if this is ok to provide him with?
    Thanking you advance xx

if you didnt state in the description you had it then just tell them you cannot find it, i sold a laptop and gave them the receipt and nothing ever come of it, but i only gave them the receipt as it was only a few months old.

i wouldn't just tell him you don't have it

Most network can tell when a phone was sold as they log the IMEI, so your buyer should be able to claim on the warranty by going into one of their stores and letting them enter it into their system. . .

Dont see a problem with it myself

Thank you very much for your replies, its much appreciated.

Remember the 7/7 bombers used PAYG Mobile Phones.

I would not pass on the receipt details.
