Hi everyone not sure if this is allowed on here but though I'd try.

My friend has set up his own music website and is looking for people to contribute to it. Its basically full of gig reviews, gig photos, upcoming events, festival guides etc.

Its something he's always wanted to do and is a non profit site, adverts are there just to cover running costs.

Any help with reviews etc. would be gratefully received and he also has band promo gear for anyone who helps.

Not too bad, simple neat, but maybe too bland, I noticed on one of the pages as I scrolled down though that one advert occupied roughly 1/3rd of my screen (using netbook 1024*600 res) that would need sorting.

sorry where I put "had" was meant to be short for advert ie ad doh!!!

Aren't the "Bands" and the "Unsigned" areas the same thing? surely if you are unsigned it doesn't mean you aren't a band.

Also, the "Festivals" and the "Gig guides" suffer the same problem; is a festival not a gig?

hi, i think he just wanted to give new upcoming bands their own section to help promote them as opposed to putting them in with established well known names. For example Scuzz TV has its own programme dedicated to unsigned acts. I see your point though  also he has said that the bands section will eventually focus on music and mp3, still a work in progress

Same as gigs/festivals, just makes it easier with festival season coming along to have own section instead of trawling through the gigs section.

But as said before any feedback is appreciated
