But i have not bought or sold anything from ebay in months

Does anyone know what EBAY.CO.UK/CC is?

Make sure your Ebay account hasn't been hacked

Thank for the quick response

I am logged on to ebay now and i cannot see any recent activity.

Does this rule out possible high-jacking?

Were you up to date with fees, even from months ago?

I think so, make sure the E-mail address is yours on the account. Did you have any outstanding fees to pay?

If ebay don't have your bank details then it can't be them charging you. I'd call the bank asap.

ebay fees normally come as something different on my account along the lines of

''jp 'something' ebay ''

never as ebay.co.uk/cc

will check to confirm exactly but it does not appear to be from selling fees so i dont knpow what else ebay could charge for

have you sold something and now been ripped of by ya buyer doing a chargeback i think they can do one up to 180 days later

what is charge back?

and the last thing i sold ended "04-Mar-08"

it would seem odd if someone fraudulently stole £2.54 - i would have thought it was something different

I would respectfully suggest it's one of two things:

1. You had an outstanding amount due to Ebay from your past activities. (ie Up to March)

2. Someone has managed to get hold of your bank/ebay/paypal (any combo of the three) details somehow and has put through a nominal amount to test the water. This is normal practice when fraudsters acquire details but are not sure if the account is still "live".

You should contact your bank/ebay/paypal if you're convinced it's not No.1 above and get your details changed ASAP. The bank is the first port of call as that is where the money is coming and going from. You need to stop the possible flow of money.

Be extremely careful of doing password changes online as if you have a keylogger on your computer you will only be sending though the updated info.

You need to make sure your computer is thoroughly scanned for such a thing as keyloggers.
